API Design Matters is Moving!
Bye Bye Substack
It may look like I’ve been absent from API Design Matters for a while (well, I have…) but I’ve been traveling the summer and fall of 2025, as well as moving homes, and my company was also recently acquired (October 2025), so I’ve been a bit too busy to spend time writing API Design Matters.
Most importantly to my readers, I’ve migrated API Design Matters off of Substack (because, Substack). So this will be my last post on apidesignmatters.substack.com. But not the end of API Design Matters!
API Design Matters has moved to its own domain name:
The most important change affecting my readers is to watch apidesignmatters.org, as new content will be published there instead of on Substack. In leaving Substack, I will lose the ability to email all my subscribers when I publish new API Design Matters content. I will post on LinkedIn and Fosstodon (Fediverse) when I write new content, and use the hashtag #APIDesignMatters (Note: I chose to not use the social media platforms X (ɹǝʇʇᴉʍʇ) or Facebook.)
