API Design Matters is now free for all

I’ve decided to end the “paid subscriptions” tier on API Design Matters and make all past and future posts free to all subscribers/visitors.

I don’t think I’ve provided sufficient “special” content to justify charging people for special access to API Design Patterns. I’ve focused on quality over quantity, but I’ve not been able to write and post as often as I had hoped… and I don’t see this changing.

I’ve suspended payments for API Design Matters and will soon (after this post) convert it to a fully free substack. I believe Substack will issue (pro-rated?) refunds to all paid subscribers, although I don’t yet know how that will work.

Thank you for reading API Design Patterns. API Design Patterns will remain focused on what matters to me - API Design, DX Design, knowledge sharing, and community building. I hope these topics matter to you as well and that you will continue with me on the journey.
